KURTULUŞ SONRASI TRABZON MUHACİRLERİNE YAPILAN YARDIMLAR VE BÖLGENİN İÇİNDE BULUNDUĞU DURUM – THE RELIEF AND AID GIVEN TO EMIGRES FROM TRABZON AFTER THE LIBERATION AND THE POST-LIBERATIONAL SITUATION IN THE REGION

Günümüzden yüz yıl önce yaşanan Birinci Dünya Savaşı, o güne kadar insanlığın gördüğü en geniş ve yıkıcı muharebe olmuştur. Devletlerin siyasi, sosyal, iktisadi ve imar gibi unsurları altüst olurken takdir edilir ki en büyük zararı insanlık yaşamıştır. Adı geçen savaşta milyonlarca insan ölmüş, milyonlarcası yaralanmış ve zorunlu göçlere maruz kalmıştır. Savaş, insanlar üzerinde o kadar yıkıcı olmuştur ki, yaptığı tahribatın giderilmesi uzun yıllar almıştır. Bu noktada ilgili makale, savaşın göçe zorladığı milletlerden Müslüman Türklerin bir kesitini oluşturan Trabzon ve çevresindeki “muhacirlerin” yani göçmenlerin, savaş sonrası memleketlerine dönüşlerini, yaşadıkları zorlukları ortaya koymaya çalıştığı gibi o dönemde Trabzon’un içinde bulunduğu durumu ve muhacirlere yapılan yardımları da aydınlatmayı amaçlamaktadır.

ABSTRACT

World War I, that broke out a century ago, has been the most destructive and most extensive war throughout history. In addition to the downfall of the political, social, economic and structural qualities of the states, the greatest damage was to humankind. Millions of people perished, millions were wounded and forced to migrate to another country. The war turned out to be so destructive that it took for years and years to remove all the traces. Thus, this paper focuses on the return of the migrants in and around Trabzon, a part of those Muslim Turks that were forced to migrate to other areas during the war, in addition to the condition of Trabzon then and the charity organizations for the migrants.
